Well hello my friends! I hope everyone is having a pleasant hump day. To help get you through the day take a quick break from your work and enjoy what I ate today (spoiler: more weird tasty grapes).
Breakfast: A big ol’ bowl of oatmeal with banana, strawberries, coconut, and a big dollop of Nikki’s Coconut in Vanilla Cake Batter. This coconut butter is seriously the reason I woke up in the morning. It is too good! It may or may not have been a birthday present to Rose last year that I have almost eaten the whole jar of… oops!
Snack: Handful of nuts to tide me over from breakfast to lunch. I always keep some nuts or tidbits to snack on in my desk in case I can’t make it to lunch with out a little munch of something.
Lunch: BLAT (bacon, lettuce, avocado, tomato) sandwich with some leftover veggies and moon drop grapes. So you remember last WIAW when I had cotton candy grapes?? Well just call me the crazy grape lady because now I have these super amazing moon drop grapes. The taste sort of like a cross between blueberries and grapes but so much better.
Snack #2: Luna protein bar. You know me and my protein bars – I cannot do without them. What can I say, they keep the hanger at bay. And hey, now I’m crazy rhyming grape lady…
Dinner: Spicy Thai lettuce wraps. These wraps were spicy, sweet, delicious and surprisingly easy to make! Anything quick and easy on a weeknight = my bff (sorry Rose).
Dessert: Tea with Oreo’s, or more precisely, Newman O’s. I am on such an Oreo kick right now. I cannot get enough of them. They are so good dipped in hot tea! We just bought some pumpkin spice Oreo’s over the weekend and I cannot wait to try them. I will report back to you how delicious they are.
Well there you have it – another Wednesday, another unusual grape to go try. I hope you all power through the rest of the week and have a wonderful weekend! And if you need a little extra nudge, go out and buy some pumpkin spice Oreo’s and tell me how they are 😉
Thanks to Peas and Crayons and The Big Man’s World for hosting this WIAW! If you liked this post then make sure to check out their blog to see what everyone else ate!
Hey, crazy grape Lady, after seeing your Witch feet mug I’m kicking myself (with my witch feet) for not getting the plates.
I know ain’t she a beauty? You should have bought them! Maybe we can go on a witch hunt for you in the stores around here.
The wait from breakfast to lunch is so brutal! I’ve gotten smart and started packing a snack as well.
You lunch has me craving a sandwich now!
I know it’s the worst! I hadn’t had a sandwich in forever until the this one and it was sooo good!
Call me crazy, but I’ve never heard of cotton candy or moon drop grapes…definitely looking for these this weekend!
You definitely should! I think the cotton candy grapes aren’t in season any more, which is sad (they are really good frozen, by the way). But the moon drop grapes are definitely in stores!
YUM! Thai Lettuce Wraps! I want like 223492384932 of them! 🙂
I know! They are so delicious I could eat them all day!!
I need to try these unusual grapes!! The cotton candy ones sound awesome and so do those moon drop ones!
You should! They are both delicious and such fun!
